LEGO Christmas Sets 2026 – Seven New Festive Sets Revealed
Christmas is coming early for LEGO fans, with seven new festive sets joining the LEGO Christmas range for 2026. From the latest addition to the much-loved Winter Village Collection to Buddy the Elf, Mrs. Claus, Christmas decorations and a brick-built stocking, this year's selection covers everything from serious adult display models to affordable seasonal builds.
Christmas has become an important part of the LEGO calendar. The annual Winter Village Collection in particular has developed a loyal following, with families adding a new model to their displays each year. Previous releases including LEGO Icons Santa's Post Office (10339), Alpine Lodge (10325), Holiday Main Street (10308) and Home Alone (21330) demonstrate just how naturally LEGO lends itself to Christmas displays.
There is also an interesting collector angle. Seasonal sets have a relatively short annual buying window, while established Christmas models can return to people's wish lists year after year after retirement. That does not automatically make every festive release a strong investment, but distinctive display sets, licensed characters and additions to established collections are certainly worth watching.
For 2026, the LEGO Group is expanding its festive offering considerably, with all seven new releases arriving in time for the build-up to Christmas.
LEGO Icons Holiday House 11387 – £99.99 / $119.99
The star of the 2026 collection is undoubtedly LEGO® Icons Holiday House (11387), the newest addition to the Winter Village Collection.
Containing 1,354 pieces, Holiday House draws inspiration from traditional Christmas imagery and the classic song Jingle Bells. The centrepiece is a snow-covered two-storey home with pitched roofs and a wrap-around porch decorated with garlands, golden bells and holly.
Inside, LEGO has packed the house with wonderfully nostalgic details. There are stockings, candy canes, wrapped presents and pumpkin pie alongside vintage-style furnishings including a phonograph, rotary telephone and mantel clock.
The Christmas tree can be illuminated using a light brick, while outside there is a horse-drawn sleigh, snowman and four minifigures. The sleigh also includes a moving function that animates the horse as it is pushed.
It looks exactly like the sort of set that should sit comfortably alongside previous Winter Village releases.
There is also a nice family-building element. Separate instructions allow different parts of the model to be constructed together, while the LEGO Builder app supports the Build Together feature.
LEGO Icons Holiday House will be available to LEGO Insiders from 1 October 2026, before its general release on 4 October 2026.

- RRP: £99.99 / $119.99
- Release: 4 October 2026; LEGO Insiders Early Access from 1 October
LEGO Holiday House 11387 Investment Potential
For LEGO investors, Holiday House is arguably the most interesting of the seven releases. Winter Village has become an established annual collection, giving new releases an existing audience of collectors who want to continue expanding their displays.
At £99.99 in the UK, the entry price is also relatively accessible compared with many modern LEGO Icons releases. However, there is no immediate need to rush from an investment perspective. Holiday House is a brand-new set and its eventual shelf life remains unknown. We would prefer to enjoy watching how the set performs, look for discounts or attractive LEGO Insiders promotions, and reassess it as retirement becomes clearer.
LEGO Buddy the Elf 40865 – £34.99 / $39.99
One of the most entertaining surprises in the collection is LEGO Buddy the Elf (40865), based on the hugely popular Christmas film Elf.
The 713-piece model recreates Buddy in his instantly recognisable green-and-yellow outfit and stands more than 31cm tall. LEGO has also included some suitably quirky references to the film, including candy canes, a bottle of maple syrup and an Arctic Puffin.
At £34.99 / $39.99, it is an accessible licensed Christmas display piece and one that could appeal beyond the usual LEGO audience to fans of the film.
Buddy the Elf is available to pre-order now ahead of its 1 October 2026 release.
- Pieces: 713
- Age: 12+
- RRP: £34.99 / $39.99
- Release: 1 October 2026
LEGO Up-Scaled Mrs. Claus Minifigure 40875 – £54.99 / $59.99
The growing collection of oversized LEGO minifigure-style builds is getting a suitably festive addition with LEGO Up-Scaled Mrs. Claus Minifigure (40875).
Built from 904 pieces, Mrs. Claus stands more than 25cm tall and features a red dress, white hair and a cheerful expression. Her head, arms and hands can also be positioned, making her suitable as both a build and a Christmas decoration.
The concept should be instantly recognisable to LEGO fans, taking the familiar proportions of a minifigure and translating them into a much larger brick-built model.
- Pieces: 904
- Age: 10+
- RRP: £54.99 / $59.99
- Release: 1 October 2026
LEGO Holiday Ornament Selection 2 40862 – £10.99 / $12.99
At the opposite end of the price range is LEGO Holiday Ornament Selection 2 (40862), which provides four small brick-built decorations designed to hang on the Christmas tree.
The 179-piece set includes a Christmas tree featuring glow-in-the-dark elements, Mrs. Claus, Cataclaws and a candy cane.
At just £10.99 / $12.99, this could be a particularly appealing stocking filler or small pre-Christmas build. It also continues LEGO's move into reusable brick-built Christmas decorations that can come back out year after year.
- Pieces: 179
- Age: 6+
- RRP: £10.99 / $12.99
- Release: 1 October 2026
LEGO Santa's Holiday Sleigh Adventure 40866 – £24.99 / $29.99
LEGO Santa's Holiday Sleigh Adventure (40866) offers a more traditional festive scene, bringing together Santa, Mrs. Claus, a reindeer and sleigh.
With only 187 pieces, this is one of the smaller sets in the collection, but its strength lies in creating an instantly recognisable Christmas display rather than providing a lengthy building experience.
The set could work particularly well alongside an existing Winter Village display or as a standalone Christmas decoration.
- Pieces: 187
- Age: 9+
- RRP: £24.99 / $29.99
- Release: 1 October 2026
LEGO Santa's Holiday Countdown 40874 – £54.99 / $59.99
LEGO is also offering an alternative to the traditional Advent calendar with Santa's Holiday Countdown (40874).
The substantial 873-piece model depicts Santa preparing to head down a chimney on a snow-covered rooftop, complete with his sack of presents.
The clever part is the chimney itself, which incorporates rotating number blocks. These allow families to change the display each day as Christmas approaches, effectively creating a reusable LEGO countdown calendar.
Priced at £54.99 / $59.99, this is one of the larger releases in the seasonal collection and is available to pre-order ahead of its 1 October 2026 launch.
- Pieces: 873
- Age: 10+
- RRP: £54.99 / $59.99
- Release: 1 October 2026
LEGO Christmas Stocking 40958 – £29.99 / $34.99
Rounding out the seven new releases is LEGO Christmas Stocking (40958), a 342-piece brick-built interpretation of one of the most familiar Christmas decorations.
The stocking is decorated with holly leaves, golden stars, candy canes and a gingerbread cookie, while LEGO has also included a Nutcracker minifigure.
Interestingly, the finished model comes with both a hook and a kickstand. This means it can either form part of a tabletop Christmas display or be hung up alongside more traditional stockings.
The set is available to pre-order ahead of its 1 October 2026 release.

- RRP: £29.99 / $34.99
- Release: 1 October 2026
LEGO Christmas 2026 – Which Sets Are We Watching?
From an Investabrick perspective, Holiday House is the obvious set to follow over the longer term because it becomes part of an established collectible series. Buddy the Elf is also interesting because it combines Christmas appeal with a recognisable film licence, potentially giving it a wider audience than a generic seasonal decoration.
The smaller sets are harder to judge as investments and we would primarily view them as fun seasonal purchases for now. As always, purchase price matters. Christmas sets can appear in LEGO promotions and gift-with-purchase qualifying periods, so there may be better opportunities than simply buying everything at launch.
LEGO Christmas Sets 2026 – And Finally...
One of the reasons we enjoy LEGO's Christmas releases is that they are slightly different from almost everything else we cover at Investabrick. A Winter Village set can become part of a family display that comes out of the loft every December, an ornament can return to the tree each year and a Christmas countdown can become a tradition rather than simply another model on a shelf.
Holiday House looks like a particularly charming addition to the Winter Village, but we suspect Buddy the Elf may steal a fair amount of attention this Christmas. After all, there aren't many LEGO sets where a bottle of maple syrup counts as an essential accessory.
