The LEGO® Shredder's Lair Rescue 79122 set was released in April 2014 as part of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles theme and TV Series subtheme. This set includes 478 pieces and features 5 minifigures: Foot Soldier with Four Arms, Michelangelo with Dirt Stains, Raphael with Clenched Teeth, Shredder with Dark Purple Cape, and Foot Soldier. The Shredder Lair comes with Shredder’s throne/escape pod, opening windows, collapsing stairs, hidden saw blade shooter, breakaway windows, removable weapon racks, dungeon with breakaway door, fangs, and translucent flame elements. The Flying Turtle vehicle includes a grapple hook and flipper, as well as an exclusive four-armed Robo Foot Ninja minifigure. Weapons include 3 Ninja stars, 2 swords, 2 sai, Shredder’s claws, nunchuk, and a mace. The Shredder Lair measures over 6” (16 cm) high, 8” (21cm) wide, and 5” (14cm) deep, while the Flying Turtle vehicle measures over 1” (3cm) high, 5” (15cm) long, and 5” (13cm) wide. LEGO 79122 is a thrilling set that allows you to rescue Michelangelo from Shredder’s Lair. Glide to the rescue with Raphael in the cool flying Turtle vehicle, but stay alert at all times because traps are everywhere. Watch out for the collapsing stairs and the hidden saw blade shooter underneath. Beware of the fearsome four-armed Robo Foot Ninja launching an attack from the flipper. Use the grapple hook of the flying Turtle machine to pull away the dungeon door and free Michelangelo.
